Note: It is preferable to perform the solvent/air/solvent/air cycle rather than a single solvent/air step (even if longer) This ensures better mechanical
cleaning efficiency, particularly in severe contamination scenariowhere emulsions form. For mild contamination, a single solvent/air step can be used. The backflow valve prevents air from entering the solvent during simultaneous valve operation, eliminating the need for pause intervals between solvent and air valve closures. Additionally, introducing air into the solvent during the cleaning process enhances operational efficiency.
